The annual Rainbow of Music concert in Jerusalem has come and gone – and what a fabulous success it was! Over 400 people came together to enjoy the performances of guitarist-and-singer Shlomo Katz, Cantor Tzvi Weiss and renowned Jazz singer Daniel Zamir, and the Ramatayim Mens Choir. We salute their generosity of spirit and the harmony (in every sense of the word) they bring to the evening.
One of the highlights of the concert was 24 year-old Naftali Weiss, who deals with the challenges of Austism, singing Malki’s Song, written by Malki just weeks before she was killed. His mother told us that music and singing is truly a gift for him and he puts his whole self into music. What a tribute to Malki who dedicated her short life to inclusion and caring for children with special needs!
Our raffle was also very successful, breaking all sales records from previous years. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets. As all the gifts were donated, the funds go directly to pay for therapies and equipment for children with disabilities in Israel.
We would like to thank everyone who helped make this amazing event happen- the organizers, the performers, the volunteers, the sponsors and, most importantly, the guests! We couldn’t have done it without you! Keep your eyes open for details about our next Rainbow of Music Concert in Ra’anana in September!
